Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino is excited to finally have her UFC debut when she meets Leslie Smith at UFC 198 in a 140 pound catchweight bout. Although most people are writing Smith off as an unworthy challenger, "Cyborg" believes they could put on the best fight of the night.
"She's a really tough girl and she accepted the fight. All the other girls who were offered the fight said ‘no'," Justino told Power 106 Los Angeles. "So I respect her because of this. She said ‘I can fight Cyborg.' I think we can make the best fight of the night."
As for a potential fight with Ronda Rousey, "Cyborg" still believes the former UFC champion is running away from her.
"Ronda always runs away from me. I saw her shadowboxing at the beach and her shadow won."
The shadowboxing refers to video surfacing of Rousey training for her return by working out at Venice Beach.
Cristiane Justino's fight with Leslie Smith will be on the main card of UFC 198, on May 14, in Curitiba, Brazil. The card will be headlined by a heavyweight title fight between champion Fabricio Werdum and challenger Stipe Miocic.
