How each Real Madrid player fared in 2015/16>>>

SPORT DADDY NEWS SPORT

After Real Madrid's failure to lift La Liga on Sunday, courtesy of Barcelona's 3-0 victory over Granada, they must now turn their attention to the Champions League final against city-rivals Atletico on May 28.

In a repeat of the showpiece two years ago, in which Los Blancos won their tenth European Cup, the two sides who failed to usurp the Blaugrana as Spanish champions go head to head at the Giuseppe Meazza in Milan.Yet, 12 league wins on he bounce gave Zinedine Zidane's side a strong end to the domestic campaign, with many players performing excellently.

Cristiano Ronaldo: Another sublime campaign with 51 goals in all competitions, a number he has reached for the last six seasons, but failed to win the Pichichi after losing out to Luis Suarez.

Keylor Navas: After almost joining Manchester United before the deal collapsed at the last moment in the summer, 'the Panther' has really asserted himself at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

Karim Benzema: Despite well documented off field problems and suffering with injuries, the French striker has had his best season in Spain, scoring 24 goals in 27 appearances.

Gareth Bale: Another who has suffered with injuries, but Bale has recovered well after a poor campaign last year to regain the respect of the Madridistas.

Dani Carvajal: Danilo's arrival at the start of the campaign threatened his place in the side, but he has impressed both Rafa Benitez and Zidane too continue as first choice right back.

Marcelo: One of Real's longest serving players, charged with the unenviable task of replacing Roberto Carlos in 2006, the Brazilian left-back has continued to be an attacking threat all season.

Sergio Ramos: The Spain defender was named captain last summer despite heavily rumours of a move away, but he put any uncertainty behind him to provide a solid base at the back.

Pepe: Having started the campaign as third choice behind Ramos and Raphael Varane, impressive performances have forced his way into the side at the most important part of the season.

Danilo: He arrived for big money from Porto, but has not done enough to replace Carvajal.

James Rodriguez: Arguably Real Madrid's most disappointing player this season, James, bought as a superstar after the World Cup in 2014, will likely move on this summer after his form dipped.

Luka Modric: The brains of the team, quite simply; the Croat has kept things ticking over in midfield consistently all season.

Isco: Like James, he is a player likely to leave this summer after an ineffectual campaign despite a big reputation.

Toni Kroos: Has struggled to impact the team at times having been given the job of replacing Xabi Alonso in 2014, but has cemented himself as a regular starter.

Jese Rodriguez: He, alongside Lucas Vazquez, has provided good cover for the BBC and impressed when called upon.

Casemiro: The Brazilian midfielder was re-signed from FC Porto last summer and excelled in the anchoring role, providing much needed balance to the team, particularly under Zidane.

Lucas Vazquez: The youngster has excelled during his debut campaign and could provide a good option late on for the Champions League final.

Raphael Varane: Despite good performances when called upon, the experience of and aggression of Pepe have made him dispensable.

Nacho: Shown to be a reliable defender whenever called upon, having enjoyed his best season in the first team.

Alvaro Arbeloa: After a campaign of little action under either Benitez or Zidane, the former Liverpool full-back waved goodbye to Los Blancos.

Borja Mayoral: Known to Zidane from their time together at Castilla, he made his debut against Athletico Madrid and enjoyed a decent first season.

Matteo Kovacic: James' main rival for the wooden spoon, Kovacic was signed for €30 million from Inter last summer but has struggled badly.

Kiko Casilla: A victim of Navas' success, Casilla arrived from Espanyol last summer, but has only been called upon in the Costa Rican's absence, albeit recently.

Orlando Yanez: A goalkeeper who is highly rated at Real having learnt a lot this season.
